The finalist for these great awards will feature the following vehicles:

Last years winner for this award was the Porsche 911, which was the second time it has won this award.

  • Renault Zoe
  • Smart Electric Drive
  • Tesla Model S
  • Volkswage Jetta Hybrid

The Mercedes-Benz S250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCYwalked away with this award in 2012, and gave Mercedes their second World Green Car award.

In 2012 the judges decided that the Range Rover Evoque was the winner of this award, which was the first time Land Rover has ever won any of the WCA.

Once again the award ceremony will take place on March 28, 2013 at the New York Auto Show. Last year, we saw the Volkswagen Up! walk away with the Car of the Year award over the BMW 3 Series and Porsche 911. This marked the third time in the last four years that one of the best cars available came from Volkswagen.
